Venezuela - 200 Boxes in transit

Thursday the 20th of August -  200 Water Survival box aid have been collected from the WSB warehouse in Midsomer Norton and transported to Heathrow airport for a flight to Caracas. This much needed aid to the people of Venezuela still effected by the 24th of June earthquakes is only possible due to the support you give us. Thank you for your generosity.

On Wednesday, 24 June 2026, northwestern and central Venezuela were devastated by a catastrophic sequence of twin earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude. Striking just 39 seconds apart with an epicentre in the Veroes Municipality, the mainshock marks the country's strongest earthquake in over 125 years. The severe shaking triggered widespread structural failure across the capital city of Caracas and the coastal state of La Guaira, where an estimated 80% of buildings

14 July 2026 - Preparing to send 200 Water Survival Boxes to Venezuela following the recent earthquake, which will be distributed by the International Medical Corps, further details to follow.

30 June 2026 - Tony Quinn, Director of Operations,  is in contact with the International Medicial Corps. Airlink has established an airbridge into the country.  Awaiting further update.
