During the month of August our partners in South Africa completed their task by delivering the much needed Water Survival Box aid to disadvantaged families in the community who were experiencing severe water shortages. This brings another Storyline to a successful completion. Once again thank you for your generous financial support, without it this would not have been possible.

400 Water Survival Boxes
400 standard WS Boxes leave the Water Survival Box warehouse on route to South Africa. The aid badly needed to address the severe flooding and landslides caused by heavy rainfall affected southern and south-eastern South Africa, particularly the Provinces of KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape. According to national authorities, in April 443 people died in KwaZulu-Natal and over 40,000 are missing. More than 40,000 people have been displaced, while nearly 4,000 houses were destroyed and more than 8,000 others were damaged, mostly across Durban City and its surrounding areas. A National State of Disaster has been declared in response to the floods and landslides. A special thank you to our partners in Switzerland who have helped to make this shipment possible.
