Tropical Storm Erick

Water Survival Box sends aid to Honduras

In mid-June 2025, Honduras experienced a severe flooding and landslide disaster caused by heavy rainfall from a surface trough interacting with Tropical Wave Erick, leading to significant infrastructure damage and affecting vulnerable areas, particularly in Ocotepeque and the Ulúa River banks. Official bodies, such as the Permanent Contingency Commission (COPECO), issued high-level alerts, and humanitarian organizations responded to the evolving situation, though preparedness efforts have helped mitigate the loss of life compared to past disaster
This programme connects companies and organisations whose philanthropic values align with the mission of Water Survival Box: providing clean water, relief, and essential support to people around the world who are affected by natural or man-made disasters.

Honduras - 25th of September 2025.  On the 21st of September the 200 Water Survival Boxes of aid arrived in Honduras after being transported by SEKO Logistics by way of Miami. The boxes will now be distributed to those families effected by Hurricane Erick. Thank you for your support, without it, this would not have been possible.

Honduras - 12th of September 2025 - 200 Water Survival Boxes left our warehouse in the UK bringing aid to more than 1000 men, women and children affected by flooding, landslides and rockfalls across Honduras. This natural disaster caused by Hurricane Erick has left those affected in dire need of clean water and basic items all lost in the Hurricane. Thank you to our supporters for helping us to make this consignment of aid possible.
